Hi!
It has been a busy two weeks, I was given an amazing opportunity at the end of February to have a stand at the Hobbycrafts show at the NEC. I know that these moments are rare and must be grabbed but I didn't have much time to plan. My little brain has been in overdrive for two weeks trying to get everything ready and work out logistics, but I think we are getting there!
I'm thoroughly looking forward to meeting so many of you and also seeing some of my lovely Stampin' Up! team.
The show runs from Thursday 17th March to Sunday 20th March 9.30am to 5.30pm. I hope you can come!
We will have some exclusive show offers for you and the chance to see some demos and try a make! It's going to be great!
On top of that I am currently enjoying an online photography course which is helping me to take better photos, understand my lovely camera better and have a different perspective on the world!
Here are some of the flatlays from the past week:
My new camera and strap (in the box)
With the new project Life Card Collection: Making Memories...
And some planning for the NEC:
I hope you like these! I promise to be back soon with more of my makes and photos from the show :)
Thanks for stopping by, let me know you were here and what you think of my progress so far...

Hi!
Quick and easy post today! I've had a wonderful time in the craft room playing around with one of Stampin' Up!'s new sets Picture Perfect and have made a little video for you!
It's helpful to see the do's and don't's (and my mistakes) before you ink yours up! Plus I show the three step layering and how to use the little notches on the photopolymer stamps.
I hope you like it!
And here's what I used:

Hi!
My computer is a little bit temperamental at the moment and won't pick up wifi in my craft room (sigh!). So I'm just posting my recent YouTube videos just now, even though they've been on my channel a while.
I made the You're So Lovely Project kit by Stampin' Up! If you're looking for some quick and easy cards, and quick and easy gift giving, this is the kit for you! The matching stamps are really useful and you also get to reuse (and reuse) the amazing foam roller and masks! Love it!
Have a look at the YouTube videos and let me know what you think! If you haven't subscribed to my Project Go Create! channel please do, it's always quick and easy videos and tutorials for busy people!
Here's the product list and codes:

Hi all,
Just a little post to show you a birthday card I sent to my great auntie. She has just turned 70 and I wanted to make her something special to mark the occasion, but also to show how much she means to me. The new Stampin' Up! Number of Years photopolymer bundle is perfect for it!
Imagine beautiful stamps, large enough to cover a card, perfect for any gender, any age and with matching framelits so no fussy cutting... There you have it!
So this is what I made...
And closer up...
I chose the soft muted background papers of the Birthday Bouquet DSP and used Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride ink, with a pop of Rose Red in the background. I also double matted the Whisper White with a 1mm border so it creates more depth to the card.

I hope you like it!
I'll be back tomorrow with some YouTube videos, my computer is playing up but my channel has two new videos on so even if you can't see them here yet, they're waiting for you :).

Hi,
This month's theme is Love and in the UK we tend to give Valentine's Gifts more to our other half, rather than our friends, but I wanted to break out of the mold and make something special that was for a really amazing friend. I have been blessed in finding some pretty fantastic ones along the way, and this is for one of them!
I am a clean and simple crafter, so I pushed myself a bit to make something (a little) more vintage-y and a little less like my usual style. I have to admit that it was a struggle! I went really vintage and had to strip it back because it just wasn't me. So it's with a little trepidation I share this project with you on my first hop, I hope you like it and will visit me again next month for something different!
I made a cone with the Shine On Specialty DSP. cutting my paper at 11" by 8.5" and then fixing with some Tear and Tape and some well placed staples. I then covered the inside with a marginally smaller cone in Very Vanilla and just slotted it in.
As soon as I saw the Bloomin' Heart thinlits die I knew it would look great as lace. I cut some Very Vanilla hearts, along with some flowers, then I used the triangle in the Playful Pals Thinlits dies to cut them into banners (but you could just use scissors or your Paper Trimmer). I placed them along some Linen thread and added the Sequin Trim and some Metallic Pegs to finish the bunting look. Then I just added a greeting from the Bloomin' Love stamp set and a Lost Lagoon ribbon bow to the side. (The bow was originally the Crochet trim and it was too much vintage for me :) ). Then it was just a Polka Dot Cone Cellophane bag of sweeties to finish it!
The matching card just uses a little of the Crochet Trim and some Soft Suede card to tie it all in.
Here it all is for easy ordering...

For a little variety I tried a clean and simple version and a fun version! What do you think?!
I also put together a Project Go Create! video to show you how I made the bunting and cone. If you're new to my channel, my videos are usually two or three minutes long and subtitled so you get straight to the bit you need to see, because we are busy crafters right?! Take a look:
I really hope you like it and it inspires you to give more than one Valentine's this year (if you don't already!) and if you're a clean and simple girl like me, pull out some vintage and give it a whirl!

Hooray! It's done!
It's not perfectly finished, or the tops completely tidy and I have some pictures to frame and put up and then maybe a pin board or memo board or something, but would you like to see?
I love it! I have to confess the desk isn't usually this tidy but it's craft room, right?!
Photo heavy post to follow...
My desk and Big Shot station on the trusty Raskog trolley...
My Ikea storage units that hold pretty much everything...
My new very narrow Ikea desk that fits in the gap, (I searched and searched to find one this size). This is where I film and blog post <hello!> Oops, the things under the desk are still being re-homed!
My bookshelf and chair for guests, or more often than not my husband who pesters talks to me while I'm crafting!
Some up close cubby hole and desk storage...
Ready for the day...
And a little gift that has pride of place above my laptop and filming desk...
I hope you like my little space... If you want to ask any questions go ahead, or if you want a video tour that might be fun!
What is your space like?
